I loooove this takeaway. in fact I love it so much IM GON' HAVE IT AGAIN :)))
Ordered a chicken tikka masala- strangely red colour, normally orange, slightly on the dry side Poppadom- Crunch tasty Chicken curry with mushroom- Very very oil, lacked taste and curry flavour. No spice. Would not recommend.
Good food as always!!
[RESUBMITTED]I was really disappointed. Spent over £20 and the delivery driver was rude, the food was bland, lacking spice , tandoori chicken was nice, Chaat was Not Chaat at all, was more like chickpea curry with salad on side, and the £2.50 kulfi was the size of my pointy finger. And as I was coming down with a cold I purchased chicken soup and that was worse than everything! the 5 per packet for £1 "cup of soup" is better than the £3 soup i got from here. Very bland. Tasted like simple chicken stock...Quality of food was good but the taste was not.
The food was good.. they delivered it within the time specified. However, I found that food was much oily than it needed to be. Other than that the food was of fair taste and quality.
Very sensibly spiced and filled me up!
Excellent really tasty arrived hot and fresh. A good varied menu, would recommend these guys to anyone who wants a great curry
food was alright
Brilliant food as usaul. Good portion, biriani even comes with free vegetable!! Always delivered before estimated time. Their tadka daal is the best in London. Better than Lahore and Kebabish I tried before. By far they are the most consistent indian restaurant I ordered food from!! Keep it up!
[RESUBMITTED]Delivery was very speedy. I didn't like the fact that I ordered half a chicken tandoori and all I got was two chicken breast. The condiments were high quality but the Vegetable Jalfrezi was smothered in onions. They were hardly any vegetables. It should be called Onion Jalfrezi.
Awful , I used to use this restaurant on a regular basis and took my wife here when we were dating. I tried it again after a couple of years and it's gone downhill . Firstly, My order was missing an item, onion bhaji's , however as the one's that had come with the set-meal were soft, oily, limp and luke-warm, i opted not to have the missing one's sent out. The curry itself was mostly shredded cabbage, bulking out the dish. With little variation in other veg and just large junks of what there was. This was under a 1cm layer of clear oil. This dish was hot, but very oily. The rice/biriani , was nice, but again only luke-warm. The naan bread, well it was under-cooked and soggy when it arrived. Like eating a piece of raw dough. Overall, very dissapointed and when i complained through hungry-house, the manager was not interested in compensating me for this abysmal dining experience. I live less than half a mile from the restaurant, they claimed they were not busy, yet took almost an hour to deliver. Beware, if you have used Kiplings Tandoori in the past, it's certainly changed for the worst. Hungryhouse yes, Kiplings, NO
Good food & excellent service. Will use again!
While the food from Kiplings is always good the wait time on Saturday night was simply unacceptable. We had to wait nearly 2 hours for what was a very simple order. When the driver arrived he cheerily said 'You must be hungry' without an apology. I was fuming. I had phoned them dozens of times to cancel the order but the telephone line was engaged the entire time. Previously we've had to wait for an hour or so for our food, but this was much longer than ever before.
